One civilian was killed and another was injured after Russia shelled the liberated city of Kherson 17 times on Nov. 24, Halyna Luhova, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, said in a Telegram messenger post.
The relevant information was available as of 3 p.m. on Nov. 24, she said.
In total, the Russians shelled the liberated city 62 times from Nov. 20-24.
Earlier Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar said the systematic shelling of Kherson by Russian troops was predictable.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk reiterated the residents of Kherson might evacuate to safer regions for the winter period.
