Casualties reported as Russians shell village in Sumy Oblast

At least one civilian was killed and another four were injured in a Russian missile strike at the village of Znob-Novhorodske, Sumy Oblast, in the afternoon on March 13, the region’s military administration reported on Telegram.

As noted, the missile impacted on the territory of the local vocational and agricultural lyceum. Other details of the incident have not yet been specified.

Meanwhile, no overnight attacks were recorded in Sumy Oblast. However, the enemy hit the Shalyhyne territorial community with mortars early on March 13.

According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or destruction as a result of the shelling.

The Russian military frequently attack border settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv oblasts in the north and east of Ukraine since being forced to retreat from them in early April (Chernihiv and Sumy) and September (Kharkiv).
