Chernihiv Oblast struck by missiles launched from Russian aircraft

Two Russian warplanes struck the border village of Semenivka in Chernihiv Oblast, in Ukraine’s north, the Ukrainian military’s Operational Command North reported on Facebook on Feb. 8.

At least one person was injured in the strike, and three others were trapped under rubble.

Early reports indicate the attack took place at 3.45 p.m. on Feb. 8. Two Russian military aircraft fired two missiles, targeting Ukrainian territory.
