Oleh Boyko, the deputy head of the Russian occupation administration in Zaporizhzhia Oblast has been killed in the occupied town of Berdyansk, along with his wife, Odesa regional military administration spokesperson Serhii Bratchuk reported on Sept. 16.

The pair were involved in preparations for a sham referendum planned by Russia, meant to “legitimize” the annexation of occupied Ukrainian territory.

Further details of Boyko’s death are being clarified.

Additionally, a Luhansk puppet authority official, Sergey Gorenko, was eliminated in the occupied city of Luhansk, along with his deputy. An explosive device went off in Gorenko’s office.
