Desertion, looting on the rise in Russian units as advance on Kyiv stutters – Ukraine’s army command
The Russian armored advance on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv has again lost momentum, with Ukrainian forces repulsing another attempted thrust by the invaders from the east of the city, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on March 10.
According to the General Staff, the Russian army, having failed to make progress in its advance on Kyiv for days, is becoming increasingly demoralized.
The General Staff also added that the number of cases of desertion and looting among Russian army units had significantly increased.
