Russians attack Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with kamikaze drones, artillery, Grads

Russian troops attacked Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with Iranian-made kamikaze drones, Grads multiple rocket launchers, and heavy artillery in the early hours of Dec. 19, Governor Valentyn Reznichenko said on Telegram on Dec. 19.
The Ukrainian military managed to shoot down two Shahed drones over the oblast, he wrote.
The Russians fired more than 60 shells from Grads and heavy artillery systems to attack the Nikopol district.
Towns and villages in three communities — Chervonohryhorivska, Myrivska and Marhanetska — were shelled.
According to preliminary data, there were no casualties, but considerable destruction was reported.
Eleven private houses, household facilities, vehicles, a power line, and a gas pipeline were damaged in the Chervonohryhorivska community.
As a result of the attack, the water supply pumping station was cut off. There is no water in several settlements.
In Marhanets, Russian troops damaged more than 20 private houses and household facilities, a sports school, an art school, an administrative building, and a college building.
On the night of Dec. 18-19, the Russian Federation massively attacked Kyiv and the oblast with Iranian-made drones.
In the south of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down ten kamikaze drones. In total, 30 out of 35 Iranian-made drones were destroyed across Ukraine over that period.
The Ukrainian capital has withstood several waves of attacks by Shahed drones. More than 20 enemy UAVs were recorded in the airspace of Kyiv. According to preliminary data, air defense forces destroyed about 15 of them. Air Defense Forces also worked in Kyiv Oblast.
Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko confirmed the explosions in Solomyanskiy and Shevchenkivskyy districts of the capital, and a hit on a critical infrastructure object.
Infrastructure objects and private houses were damaged in the Kyiv region. In some areas of the capital, the light partially disappeared. According to preliminary data, two people were injured.
