Invading Russian forces attacked Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with multiple launch rocket systems, heavy artillery and Iranian suicide drones overnight on Oct. 31, the governor of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Valentyn Reznichenko, has reported on the Telegram messenger.
Reznichenko said the town of Marhanets was the worst hit, with 40 Grad rockets impacting on the local infrastructure and residential buildings.
A 31-year-old woman was killed in the attack, and another woman was injured and hospitalized.
Reznichenko said about 30 multi-story buildings, private houses, a local school, an administrative building, cars, and power lines had also been damaged in Marhanets as a result of the rocket bombardment.
In addition, the invaders used suicide drones to hit an energy facility in the Kamianske district. Repair crews are working at the scene, Reznichenko said.
In recent months, Russian invasion forces have been regularly shelling Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, and the city of Nikopol and Nikopol district in particular. Dozens of multi-story buildings and detached houses have been damaged there.
