Drone footage shows Russian troops marauding their own

Russians decided that it was easier to rob a dead comrade than to evacuate him (Photo:Video screenshot sternenko/Twitter)
The propensity of Russian
soldiers towards looting and theft is well-documented, but now and then it can still amaze
with its sheer cynicism.
In a video posted by Ukrainian blogger Serhiy Sternenko on Twitter on May 23, Russian troops are seen pilfering the body of their dead comrade.
The footage was captured by a drone piloted by Ukraine’s 72nd Mechanized Brigade. In it, two soldiers approach one of their fallen “battle brothers,” but instead of recovering the body, they are seen taking his wristwatch.
Then they spot the drone and run away in different directions.
However, no matter how appalling their actions may seem at times, there were cases when Russian soldiers robbed their wounded comrades and left them to bleed out on the battlefield.
