DTEK Holding, the largest private investor in the energy industry in Ukraine, plans to repair six thermal power plant units by the end of the heating season, the company wrote on Telegram on Jan. 24.
According to DTEK’s estimates, 82 days remain until the end of the heating season in Ukraine.
“The struggle on the energy front continues and, despite all the difficulties, the energy industry continues to supply Ukrainians with power,” the company said in its statement.
“For this, we have already repaired four thermal power plant units, and in the (next) 82 days we plan to repair six more units,”
Since the start of the full-scale war, DTEK repair crews have restored electricity supplies to 6.7 million Ukrainians.
Previously, DTEK reported that last week the electricity supply for the residents of Kyiv was cut off evenly – and on average consumers had power for 19 hours a day.
