Russian artillery fire killed eight people, wounded two, and destroyed at least seven homes in Luhansk oblast, head of the regional administration, Serhiy Haidai, said in a Telegram post on April 24.

The invaders launched attacks on Hirske, Zolote, Severodonetsk, and Lysychansk.

In Lysychansk, a residential high-rise was set ablaze by the attack, while five houses and a police station were damaged in Severodonetsk.

A house in Rubizhne caught fire at night, and emergency services rescued three people while under Russian shelling.

Six people died in Russian strikes on Hirske and Zolote.

“Two more casualties of Russian troops have occurred in Popasna,” said Haidai.

“Several days ago, an artillery shell struck a house there, and (we) couldn’t save two women from underneath the rubble.”

According to Ukraine’s General Staff, 12 Russian attacks were repelled in Donbas, destroying four Russian tanks, 15 IFVs and IMVs, four trucks, and five artillery systems.
