Russian invaders shell Kharkiv Oblast, killing two brothers and injuring their father

Two brothers were killed and their father were injured in a Russian attack on Kharkiv Oblast, regional governor Oleh Synehubov wrote on Telegram on Feb. 3.

According to him, the enemy shelled the city of Barvinkove in Izyum District at about 4:30 a.m., striking a residential building. Two brothers, 49and 42, were killed, while their father, 70, was injured and taken to hospital.

Synehubov reported strikes in the areas in and around settlements of Vovchansk, Kupyansk, Dvorichna, and others in Chuhuiv, Kupyansk, and Kharkiv Districts.

"They are aiming primarily at residential neighborhoods,” Synehubov said.

“Many houses have been damaged or destroyed. There have been fires.”

A woman, 51, was injured in Vovchansk and was treated at the scene.
