Elite Russian brigade destroyed near Kharkiv, President’s Office says
The Ukrainian Armed Forces defeated Russia's 200th Motorized Rifle Brigade in a head-on battle near the eastern city of Kharkiv, announced the advisor to the chief-of-staff of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Oleksiy Arestovych. These troops are considered one of the most elite units of the Russian Armed Forces.
“Our units near Kharkiv even launched a counterattack. During the combat encounter, we defeated the 200th brigade of the enemy – one of the best elite units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation,” he said.
Earlier, editor-in-chief of the Ukrainian censor.net news outlet Yuriy Butusov reported that a mechanized battalion of one of the brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in a battle outside Kharkiv, defeated the 200th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian army and captured six brand new Russian T-80BVM tanks.
