Around 1,000 Russian troops have left Mariupol, Donetsk Oblast, and are moving towards Zaporizhzhia, Mariupol mayoral adviser Petro Andriushchenko said in a Telegram post on July 19.

“We’re registering around 1,000 enemy troops, previously stationed near the boundary between Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts... have mounted their vehicles early in the morning and left towards Zaporizhzhia,” said Andriushchenko.

Most of the soldiers in question are young men, including some conscripts, according to Andriushchenko.
