The government of Estonia has supported a proposal by the country’s Minister of Defence, Hanno Pevkur, on sending another package of military aid to Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Estonia reported on Dec. 22.
“Ukraine still needs our help and support in resisting Russian aggression,” Pevkur said.
“Our aid package this time meets the aid requests received from Ukraine, as well as the bilateral agreements of the Defense Forces and the Defense League of Estonia with their partners in Ukraine.”
The new aid package will include individual equipment, in particular bulletproof vests, ballistic protection plates for bulletproof vests, outerwear (especially winter wear), and other clothing and accessories.
In addition, Estonia will provide Ukraine with drones, weapon cleaning sets, medical ventilators, and more.
Earlier on Dec. 16, Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu said that it is necessary to transfer more weapons to Ukrainian troops right now.
