Explosions have ripped through a Russian ammunition depot in the Russian-occupied town of Mykhailivka in west-central Zaporizhzhya Oblast, Mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov announced on Telegram on Jan. 18

The mayor posted a heavily pixelated video in which multiple explosions resembling the sound of ammunition exploding can be heard.

According to the official, the Russian military set up an arsenal in a local school building.

"The occupiers in Mykhaylivka, Zaporizhzhya Oblast, organized a school disco right in the middle of the day..." Fedorov said.

“They have been making so much noise for so long that the windows of neighboring houses are shaking. And ambulances have been sent to the school.”

There is no information about any losses among invading Russian forces in the town at this stage.
