First Lady Zelenska meets with King Charles III

Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska met with King Charles III, during their joint visit to the Ukrainian Welcoming Center at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral in London, Zelenska said in a Telegram post on Nov. 30.
“This isn’t the first time His Majesty finds time and kind words to support Ukrainian refugees: he recently visited them in Scotland, and in Romania before that,” Zelenska said.
She thanked the monarch for the help the UK continues to provide to Ukraine, and added that while in London, she feels support is “getting stronger, and with it – our friendship.”
The First Lady is on a visit to the UK. She met with PM Rishi Sunak and his wife, Akshata Murthy. Zelenska also addressed the UK Parliament and introduced her charitable foundation, which focuses on helping Ukrainian refugees.
