Satellite images dated March 10 show the first signs that the bodies of citizens of Bucha killed by invading Russian troops were being buried in massgraves in the Kyiv suburban town.

The first evidence of the digging of a trench for a mass grave near the Church of St. Andrew the First-Called and All Saints in Bucha can be seen in satellite images taken by Maxar Technologies on March 10, news agency Reuters reported on April 4.

“More recent coverage on March 31 shows the grave site with an approximately 45-foot-long trench (about 14 meters - ed.) in the southwestern section of the area near the church,” space technology company Maxar said.
