Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak announced his readiness to invite the Ukrainian military for training, Polskie Radio reported on July 12.

During his visit to Kyiv, the minister stressed that "peace in Ukraine is also in the interest of Poland."

“We also talked about the possibility of training the Ukrainian military in Poland,” said the minister. “We can train sappers, because we all know very well Russians have left mines on the occupied Ukrainian territory and they need to be removed.”

The UK has also supported the Armed Forces of Ukraine for a long time as part of the ORBITAL training operation. During 2015-2022, 22,000 Ukrainians finished the military training program.

During a visit to Kyiv, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a separate training program for Ukrainian military personnel, under which up to 10,000 soldiers will be trained every 120 days.
