For the second day in a row, more than 41,000 Ukrainians diagnosed with COVID-19

The current daily rate of COVID-19 infections in Ukraine remains high and ranks among the top five days of recorded infections over the entire course of the pandemic. A day earlier, 41,694 Ukrainians were reported to have contracted the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

Over the entire duration of the pandemic, a total of 4,462,970 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Ukraine, of whom 3,750,836 have recovered, and 102,403 have died.

· Odesa Oblast – 3,918;

· Kyiv City – 3,880;

· Zhytomyr Oblast – 2,602;

· Dnipropetrovsk Oblast – 2,420;

· Lviv Oblast – 2,280;

· Khmelnytskyi Oblast – 2,109;

· Kharkiv Oblast – 2,016;

· Rivne Oblast – 1,917;

· Donetsk Oblast – 1,545;

· Poltava Oblast – 1,523;

· Chernihiv Oblast – 1,476;

· Sumy Oblast – 1,471;

· Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast – 1,441;

· Zaporizhzhia Oblast – 1,423;

· Ternopil Oblast – 1,379;

· Kyiv Oblast – 1,373;

· Kherson Oblast – 1,373;

· Cherkasy Oblast – 1,232;

· Volyn Oblast – 1,118;

· Chernivtsi Oblast – 1,062;

· Vinnytsia Oblast – 1,001;

· Mykolaiv Oblast – 957;

· Zakarpattia Oblast – 928;

No data is available for the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the non-government-controlled parts of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, and Sevastopol.

An adaptive quarantine is in effect in the country until the end of March 2022, dividing Ukraine into colored zones that represent the impact of the coronavirus on the region.

Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Zakarpattia, Khmelnytskyi, and Luhansk Oblasts are in the red zone, while all other regions are currently in the yellow or orange zones.

Over 30 million coronavirus vaccination doses have been administered, and nearly 14 million people have received two doses, with more than 500,000 people having had a booster dose.
