Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who is visiting the United States, met with Donald Trump and discussed Russia's war against Ukraine with him, Johnson said in a comment to the BBC on May 26.

Johnson confirmed that he did indeed hold talks with Trump. Without revealing details of the meeting, the former PM noted that he discussed the situation in Ukraine and the vital importance of Ukraine's victory with Trump.

The meeting likely took place on May 25, when the former U.S. President met with Johnson for dinner.

Johnson is currently in Texas at the invitation of pro-Ukrainian think tanks to hold meetings with representatives of the GOP and their donors and convince them of the importance of sustained U.S. support for Ukraine.

It is likely that the meeting with Trump took place within the framework of this trip.
