Four civilians were wounded as Russian troops resorted to carrying out kamikaze drone attacks in the Krasnopillia territorial community of Ukraine's northern Sumy Oblast, head of Sumy Regional Military Administration Dmytro Zhyvytskyi said in a Telegram post on June 21.

The governor said that the Russians also shelled the Krasnopillia territorial community with mortars and other weapons in the afternoon on June 21. As many as 42 attacks were recorded in the past day.

"In particular, the Russians fired at settlements," Zhyvytskyi said.

"Houses, outbuildings, a school and a village council were damaged. A nice little park in one of the settlements of the territorial community was destroyed by enemy shells."
