Fragments of a Russian cruise missile fell on private houses after explosions rocked the city of Dnipro in central-eastern Ukraine on Aug. 23, Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov said on Telegram messenger.

“There are already reports of missile fragments falling on private houses,” he said.

“Details later. We’re waiting for official information from the Military Administration.”

Earlier an air raid alert was triggered in the city of Dnipro and the surrounding Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Ukrainian public broadcaster Suspilne reported that sounds similar to explosions were heard in the city of Dnipro.
