France will work together with Australia to step up shell production for the Ukrainian army, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III said at the Ramstein meeting on Feb. 14.

"France also announced that it will work with Australia to ramp up 155 millimeter ammunition production to support Ukraine," Austin said.

54 countries took part in the ninth Ramstein meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group at NATO Headquarters in Brussels on Feb. 14.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that partner nations pledged to supply Ukraine with more air-defense systems, tanks, artillery systems and ammunition, as well as to expand military training programs for Ukrainian soldiers.
