France's foreign minister visits Odesa amid Russian mass missile strike

French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna visited the city of Odesa shortly after a Russian missile strike on Odesa oblast, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba tweeted on Jan.26.

He thanked Colonna for her bravery in going ahead with her visit amid the Russian threat.

"Thanks for your brave visit,” Kuleba’s tweet reads.

“Looking forward to discussing France’s role in the international tank coalition, Grain From Ukraine, and Peace Formula. The Ukrainian-French partnership remains crucial to ending Russian aggression and restoring peace.”

According to the latest reports, during the latest mass Russian missile attack on Ukraine a civilian was killed and several more injured in Kyiv, energy facilities were damaged in Vinnytsia and Odesa oblasts.

Natalia Humeniuk, head of the press center of the South Operational Command, said Russia conducted its latest attacks in waves to identify and hit the positions of Ukrainian air defenses.
