Ukrainian forces eliminate 50 Russian soldiers, their military hardware

Ukraine's General Staff has confirmed the elimination of Russian troops in Zaporizhzhya and Kherson oblasts in recent days, according to its morning update on Nov. 6.
In particular, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck an area where Russian troops had been stationed in the village of Chulanivka in Kherson Oblast, the General Staff said.
The Ukrainian army also attacked the headquarters of a Russian grouping in the village of Basan, Zaporizhzhya Oblast, destroying up to 10 units of military hardware and up to 50 troops.
Further, Ukrainian troops eliminated 20 units of military equipment and wounded up to 80 Russian soldiers in and around the town of Polohy and the village of Marfopil in Zaporizhzhya Oblast.
Meanwhile, over the past 24 hours Ukrainian forces repelled enemy attacks in and around 14 populated localities. The Russians launched four missile attacks and carried out 19 air strikes. They also mounted over 75 attacks with multiple rocket launchers.
The Ukrainian Air Force alone launched seven air strikes against Russian positions, hitting six positions with enemy weapons, vehicles, and manpower, and one position with surface-to-air missiles. Four enemy drones were shot down by Ukrainian forces.
In the past day, Ukrainian missile and artillery units, in turn, attacked an enemy command posts, seven concentrations of troops and weapons, an ammunition depot, and three other important military facilities.
