Russia has lost nearly 41,000 troops in Ukraine, reports General Staff

Russian losses in its war of aggression against Ukraine approach 41,000 soldiers, Ukraine’s General Staff said in a Facebook post on July 31.
This latest update puts total Russian losses as follows:
- Troops: 40,830 (+160);
- Tanks: 1,763 (+4);
- APCs and IFVs: 4,004 (+9);
- Barreled artillery: 916 (+10);
- Multiple launch rocket systems: 259 (+1);
- Anti-air defense systems: 117 (+0);
- Warplanes: 223 (+1);
- Helicopters: 190 (+0);
- UAVs: 735 (+2);
- Cruise missiles: 174 (+0);
- Ships and boats: 15 (+0);
- Supply and fuel trucks: 2,902 (+13);
- Specialized military equipment: 80 (+2).
“Enemy forces sustained their heaviest losses in Donetsk Oblast,” the message reads.
