Russia has lost nearly 41,000 troops in Ukraine, reports General Staff

Russian losses in its war of aggression against Ukraine approach 41,000 soldiers, Ukraine’s General Staff said in a Facebook post on July 31.

This latest update puts total Russian losses as follows:

  • Troops: 40,830 (+160);
  • Tanks: 1,763 (+4);
  • APCs and IFVs: 4,004 (+9);
  • Barreled artillery: 916 (+10);
  • Multiple launch rocket systems: 259 (+1);
  • Anti-air defense systems: 117 (+0);
  • Warplanes: 223 (+1);
  • Helicopters: 190 (+0);
  • UAVs: 735 (+2);
  • Cruise missiles: 174 (+0);
  • Ships and boats: 15 (+0);
  • Supply and fuel trucks: 2,902 (+13);
  • Specialized military equipment: 80 (+2).
