Germany sends engineering vehicle, trucks, drones to Ukraine

Germany has sent a new batch of military aid to Ukraine consisting of an armored engineering vehicle, trucks, and tens of thousands of rounds of ammunition, according to an updated list of military aid to Ukraine shared by the German government on April 6.

Kyiv received, in particular, the following items:

•    1 Dachs armored engineering vehicle

•    8 Zetros trucks

•    8 mobile antenna mast systems

•    8 reconnaissance drones

•    23,520 rounds of 40mm ammunition

In its previous military aid package, Germany supplied Ukraine with 18 Leopard 2A6 battle tanks and 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles.

The German government further agreed to allocate an additional EUR 12 billion ($13 billion) of long-term military aid to Ukraine with EUR 3.2 billion worth of materiel slated for 2023.
