Germany sends five armored repair and evacuations vehicles to Ukraine, with ten more planned

Germany has already supplied Ukraine with five armored repair and evacuation vehicles (BREM) and is preparing to hand over ten more, the German government reported on Oct. 5.

These armored repair and evacuation vehicles are designed to evacuate stuck and damaged equipment, including from enemy fire. It also provides necessary repairs and maintenance in the field.

The German armed forces, the Bundeswehr, sent two BREMs to Ukraine this week, joining three that were sent the week before, the report reads.

More vehicles of this type are on the list of equipment that is being prepared for shipment to Ukraine. According to the German government, another ten units will soon be transferred to Ukraine.
