Germany will hand over 500 Stinger missiles and a thousand anti-tank weapons to Ukraine
Germany has officially decided to hand over weapons to Kyiv amid a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Germans will pass 500 Stinger missiles and 1,000 anti-tank weapons, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said in a statement
"Russia's attack marks a turning point. It is our duty to do everything we can to support Ukraine in defending itself against the invading army of (Russian President Vladimir) Putin. That's why we deliver 1,000 anti-tank weapons and 500 Stinger missiles to our friends, "he wrote on Twitter.
Earlier, the media reported that Germany has allowed the Netherlands to hand over 400 rocket-propelled grenade launchers to Ukraine. Berlin has also approved the supply of 14 armored vehicles to Ukraine. They are designed for special protection and evacuation, writes Der Tagesspiegel.
