Invading Russian troops have already forcefully deported 500,000 Ukrainians to Russia, including 120,000 children, Permanent Representative of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya said during a meeting of the UN Security Council, Ukraine’s Ukrinform news agency reports.

According to Kyslytsya, the Ukrainians deported to Russia are sent to depressed regions, including the northern territories and the island of Sakhalin in the Russian Far East, and then banned from leaving for two years.

Kyslytsya says Russians are also keeping tens of thousands of Ukrainians in filtration camps, or concentration camps, in the occupied territories. At least 20,000 people are being held in camps near the settlements of Manhush, Nikolske and Yalta in Donetsk Oblast, and another 5,000-7,000 in Bezimenne of the same oblast.
