Around 414 Ukrainian children forcibly deported from Ukraine by invading Russian forces, have been located at the Romashka summer camp near Taganrog in south-western Russia, Russian media outlet Verstka reported on June 27.

Russian children are not allowed at the camp. According to the journalists, Romashka is a temporary accommodation facility for Ukrainian refugees. A volunteer who visited the camp, said that besides Ukrainian orphans, there are children at the site whose parents had gone to fight Russian invasion forces.

Camp workers say that many children want to go home. Instead, the authorities plan to issue them with Russian passports and find foster families to adopt them.
