In almost every Ukrainian town and village liberated so far, Ukrainian forces have found that Russian invaders set up dungeons to torture local citizens, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Yevhen Yenin said on Ukrainian national television on Oct. 6.

“In fact, every town or village freed from the occupiers had a torture chamber of one form or another,” Yenin said.

“Recently, we coordinated the work of law enforcement officers in the liberated cities, and these torture chambers were found there one by one – in Veliky Burluk, Kozachy Lopan, Vovchansk, and Balaklia.”

“Local police stations were usually chosen for this,” Yenin added.

On Oct. 4, President Zelenskyy’s Office reported that 483 settlements in Kharkiv oblast have been liberated.

Torture chambers and mass grave sites continue to be discovered in towns and villages liberated from Russian occupation.
