Kherson Oblast shelled 55 times overnight, 2 civilians injured, residential buildings damaged

Russian invasion forces fired on the territory of Kherson Oblast 55 times over the past day, Feb. 18, injuring two civilians, the press service of the regional military administration reported on Telegram.
The Russians attacked Ukrainian settlements with multiple rocket launchers, mortars, artillery, infantry fighting vehicles and UAVs.
In addition, the Russian army fired nine times at Kherson. Residential buildings were damaged in the southern Ukrainian city.
The regional authorities said two people sustained injuries of varying severity in Kherson Oblast over the past day as a result of Russian shelling.
The Ukrainian military’s General Staff also said that in order to discredit the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the temporarily occupied part of Kherson Oblast, the Russians are shelling the territories under their control.
In particular, the enemy is targeting medical facilities, residential buildings and educational institutions, the General Staff said.
