A large convoy of Russian vehicles went to Kherson, carrying ammo and fuel, Mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov reported on July 12.
“It should be noted that Russian vehicles are also coming from Crimea again,” said Fedorov on national TV. “Yesterday, a large convoy of vehicles drove towards Kherson.”
According to him, there were about 40 vehicles transporting fuel and ammunition in the military column. “The danger is still there,” the mayor said.
Earlier Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said in an interview with The Times that Ukraine is gathering up to a million troops equipped with Western weapons to liberate the south from Russian invading forces.
The President and the leadership of Ukraine have repeatedly noted that Ukraine will liberate all the temporarily occupied territories.
