The Armed Forces of Ukraine have completely liberated Mykolayiv Oblast from invading Russian forces, the secretary of the Parliamentary Commit-tee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, MP Roman Kostenko, said in a video message on Facebook on Nov. 10.

He noted the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue a “cleansing” operation in the town of Snihurivka.

“This was the last settlement held by the Russians in Mykolayiv Oblast,” he said.

“Therefore, we can say that Mykolayiv Oblast has completely been liberated.”

Kostenko added that Ukrainian forces are continuing to retake occupied cities and villages in Kherson Oblast.

Snihurivka had been controlled by the Russian invaders since March 2022. To hold the settlement, the Russians deployed significant forces there and dug in to fortify.

Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, said on Nov. 10 that the Ukrainian military regained control over 12 settlements in the Kherson area in a single day.

In addition to Snihurivka, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated Pavlivka, Yevhenivka, Bobrovyi Kut, Bruskinske, Borozenske, and Kyselivka, which is about 15 kilometers from the city of Kherson.
