U.S. diplomats on June 30 hung up a rainbow flag in front of the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, Russia, in solidarity with LGBT people, as seen in a photo posted on Instagram.
Earlier, trying to poke fun at the United States, Moscow authorities renamed the square in front of the U.S. Embassy in honor of the sham "Donetsk People's Republic" ("DPR").
The corresponding initiative was taken by the members of the Moscow City Duma (Council) shortly after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Thus, the LGBT flag was formally raised on the square of the "DPR," whose leaders, like the entire Kremlin regime, profess persistent homophobia.
