Lithuania will send two batches of armored personnel carriers to Ukraine, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis announced at a press conference in Odesa on Sept. 15, the Interfax-Ukraine news agency has reported.

"Just today the Lithuanian government announced that we will send an additional batch of armored personnel carriers,” Landsbergis said.

“Two batches. One of them should arrive in Ukraine very soon.”

According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine know best where to use them.

"On the other hand, we have tried to be an advocate, in many cases reminding our partners and allies in the EU and NATO that this is not enough," Landsbergis said.

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said that the war unleashed by Moscow against Ukraine should end with the unconditional surrender of Russia.

He said that the performance of Ukrainian servicemen was exceeding all expectations every day, and Ukraine deserved full support from its partners in bringing Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to justice.
