Local man killed by a mine on a beach of Odesa Oblast

A local resident hit a mine while swimming in coastal waters of one of the beaches of Odesa Oblast, Odesa Regional Military Administration spokesperson Serhiy Bratchuk reported on July 15.
“A young man was killed by a mine on his birthday,” Brathuck said. “He has violated all prohibitions, all requirements and neglected security, because he wanted to go for a swim.”
Bratchuk said that the mine explosion torn off a man's head. Details of the tragedy were also confirmed by the Operational Command South.
This is not the first unfortunate death of a local swimmer in Odesa Oblast.
Earlier on July 2 another man was killed by a mine while swimming in the sea in Odesa Oblast, and another person received a concussion and light scratches.
And in Grybivtsi, a village in Odesa Oblast, a person died from the explosion of a Russian mine in the water on June 12.
