Russian invasion forces are continuing their attacks in Luhansk Oblast, where the situation is the most difficult near the settlements of Bilohorivka and Kreminna, regional governor Serhiy Hayday reported on Telegram on Feb. 12.
"Today at 4 a.m. the Russians attacked Bilohorivka on all sides. Our defense forces repelled the attack," he said.
The situation was similar on the Kreminna axis, where the Russian troops attempted a large-scale attack but suffered heavy losses. After a firefight with Ukrainian defending troops, the Russian forces retreated to replenish their units.
Hayday said that the Svatove axis is currently the most stable for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"On the Luhansk front, we expect massive round-the-clock attacks by the occupiers in the coming days," the governor added.
