The leadership of Russian state
corporations in occupied Crimea has received instructions to prepare for evacuation,
Ukraine’s National Resistance Center (NRC) said in a message on its website on
April 28.
"This information comes from both (Russian) state banks and the Crimean (branch of Russia’s) Railway, which indicates comprehensive preparation measures (are being taken)," the statement said.
As clarified by the NRC, local top managers and their families are the ones expected to be evacuated.
"For now, they are talking about paid leave," the message added.
According to Reuters, the most robust fortifications built by Russian forces are located in the southern part of the Zaporizhzhya Oblast and at the approaches to Crimea.
Ukrainian Military Intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov previously said that Ukraine will regain control of Crimea through a combination of both military force and diplomacy.
