Ukraine’s parliament is to again extend the term of martial law and general mobilization in the near future, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, MP from the Holos party has reported on his Telegram channel on Feb. 4.

According to the lawmaker’s information, the measures will be renewed after Feb. 19, 2023, and it is very likely that they will last another 90 days.

“The two corresponding laws on the approval of the decree will be introduced by the president in the near future, after which they will be approved by the parliament the following week,” Zheleznyak said.

This will be the sixth extension of martial law since the beginning of the full-scale war. Before that, the Verkhovna Rada approved similar decisions on Feb. 24, March 15, April 21, Aug. 15 and Nov. 16.
