Ukraine does not consider healthcare workers, who provide medical assistance to citizens under Russian occupation, collaborators, Health Minister of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko said on July 6.
“The performance of their duties, the provision of medical care, receiving medicine or gasoline for medical emergencies in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine is not considered collaboration with the invader,” Lyashko said.
According to him, the doctor's mission is to save Ukrainians, regardless of who rules over the territory they are in or what is happening around them.
