Russian Mi-8 helicopter crashes in Buryatia, according to social media

A Russian military Mi-8 helicopter has reportedly crashed in the eastern Siberian region of Buryatia, namely at the airfield in Buryat capital of Ulan-Ude, according to a video and photos shared on Twitter on Dec. 16.

The cause of the crash is unknown. Three people were reportedly killed in the crash. According to footage from the scene, the helicopter exploded after the crash.
