Another group of Iranian instructors has been brought to the Russian-occupied Ukrainian city of Luhansk in eastern Ukraine, according to the morning report of the General Staff posted on Facebook on Feb. 17.
They are to teach the Russian military how to work with Shahed drones, the General Staff said.
"Another team of instructors from Iran recently arrived in the temporarily occupied Luhansk to train the Russian military in the use of unmanned combat aerial vehicles," the statement reads.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, Russia is likely to engage foreign mercenaries to organize drone attacks on Ukrainian territory.
CNN reported that Iran is modifying the attack drones it supplies to Russia so that the explosive warheads will cause maximum damage to infrastructure in Ukraine.
