More than 145,000 invading Russian troops have been eliminated, with 400 killed on average every day since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia, according to figures given in the morning report of the Ukrainian military’s General Staff on Facebook on Feb. 22.
Russian losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine are as follows (increase over previous day in parentheses):
- personnel – about 145,060 (+620)
- tanks – 3,334 (+8)
- armored fighting vehicles – 6,569 (+7)
- artillery systems – 2,345 (+7)
- multiple rocket launchers – 471 (+0)
- air defense equipment – 243 (+0)
- aircraft – 299 (+0)
- helicopters – 287 (+0)
- UAV of operational-tactical level – 2,026 (+3)
- cruise missiles – 873 (+0)
- ships/boats – 18 (+0)
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 5,212 (+2)
- special equipment – 226 (+0).
Earlier, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that the United States estimates that 200,000 Russian soldiers have been killed or wounded since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
More than a million people have also left Russia to avoid mobilization.
