Ukraine intercepted over 50% of 83 Russian missiles launched at Ukraine on Oct. 10

By 11:34 a.m, Russian troops had already fired 83 missiles at Ukraine, 43 of which were shot down, Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Anna Maliar reported on Telegram on Oct. 10.
She added that this information is provided by the General Staff and the data is being updated.
Prior to that, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi said that Ukraine's air defense destroyed 41 of the 75 missiles that Russia had fired that morning.
Early on Oct. 10, Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine, striking numerous cities and settlements across the country. Kyiv came under fire for the first time since June. As of 10 a.m., it was reported that 8 people were killed in the strikes on the capital, with more than 20 injured.
Later, the Kyiv authorities clarified that five people were killed and 32 injured.
