Second fire at military facility in Moscow reported in a single day

A fire broke out in the headquarters of the Russian National Guard building in Moscow on Dec. 23, Russian state-owned propaganda outlet TASS reported on Dec. 23.
According to some sources, the outbreak occurred near a dormitory used by OMON (Special Purpose Mobile Unit, more commonly known as riot police).
“There was a fire in the State Guard building on Tvardovsky Street in Moscow,” the outlet wrote.
“According to preliminary data, the fire broke out on the seventh floor in a room for storing body armor.”
Earlier today, another fire was reported at a military base near the Russian capital. Reportedly, the fire there began in the base’s garage bay.
