Mother of toddler killed in Russian missile strike on central Ukraine fighting for life

The mother of the two-year-old girl killed in a Russian missile strike on Pidhorodne near the city of Dnipro is in serious condition, Dnipropetrovsk regional governor Serhiy Lysak said on national television on June 5.
"A total of 12 people are in the hospital, including one woman in a serious condition, doctors are fighting for her life," he stated. “She is the mother of the deceased two-year-old child.”
Lysak recalled that a total of 25 people were injured in the attack, including five children.
Three children currently remain hospitalized.
The search and rescue operation has already ended, but the debris is still being cleared.
On June 3, Russian troops attacked residential buildings in the Pidhorodne territorial community in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
