Nearly 1,000 invaders neutralized by Ukrainian army in the past day

910 invading Russian troops were eliminated in the past 24 hours, bringing total Russian losses to over 134,000, according to an update by Ukraine's General Staff on Facebook on Feb. 8.
The total number of Russian losses in personnel and materiel as follows:
- Personnel — 134,100 (+910)
- Tanks — 3,253 (+8);
- Armored combat vehicles — 6,458 (+15);
- Artillery systems — 2,236 (+4);
- Multiple launch rocket systems — 461 (+0);
- Air defense systems — 228 (+1);
- Warplanes — 295 (+1);
- Helicopters — 285 (+1);
- UAVs — 1,961 (+3);
- Cruise missiles — 796 (+0);
- Warships / boats — 18 (+0);
- Motor vehicles and fuel tankers — 5,112 (+5);
- Specialized equipment — 211 (+3).
Journalist Vitaly Portnikov explained on Radio NV that Putin is more than willing to absorb these huge losses:
"It could be a tactic of exhausting Ukrainian troops in particular places on the front line in order to make a future offensive easier,” Portnikov said.
“If one storms some cities and suffers huge losses, they can be sure that their enemy is suffering great losses, too. And [Putin’s] mobilization resources are several times larger, thanks to the size of Russia's population."
