Ukraine will receive new air and missile defense systems before the end of the year, adding that arrangements for the shipments are already underway, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba said on Ukrainian national television on Nov. 4.

"We have a rule not to comment on deliveries until the supplying country makes an announcement, or we agree that we can talk about it,” Kuleba explained, commenting on new weapons shipments.

“There are many agreements in progress now, starting from air defense systems. Some agreements reached by the President of Ukraine, and at the government level with some countries. There are things that are being worked out for the future.”

According to him, certain agreements regarding air and missile defense are in a state of implementation.

“When they are implemented, you will find out,” he said.

“This will happen before the end of the year. Well, at least we are trying our best to make it happen this year as it was agreed.”
